Published: 20 December 2025

“Over the last twelve months, I’ve had the privilege of meeting volunteers from all areas of life and witnessing the wonderful work they do. I want to say a big “thank you” to all these selfless individuals who improve the lives of so many. Your dedication is truly inspiring and reflects the very best of our community spirit.

“This time of year, reminds us of the importance of kindness, togetherness, and community spirit - qualities that the people of Wavendon embody so well. Whether you are celebrating with family, connecting with neighbours, supporting local events, or lending a hand to others, your efforts help make our Parish, which include Glebe Farm and Eagle Farm South, such a wonderful place to live.

“I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributes to our community throughout the year - from our emergency and public service teams to our volunteers, charities, and local organisations. Your commitment and generosity are deeply appreciated.

“May this festive season bring you peace, joy, and moments of rest. From my family to yours I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year.”
